Join others in a soothing and unhurried class tailored especially for cancer survivors. With a focus on gentle movement, this class has been thoughtfully crafted to guide your body away from stress responses. Through deliberate motions, we foster the release of tension, enabling your nervous system to find its calm equilibrium. This practice extends beyond physical movements – it's a journey that revitalizes your body, mind, and spirit, bestowing a renewed sense of harmony.

Embrace the multitude of benefits as we navigate this journey together. Strength-building exercises and joint mobility poses gently fortify your body, enhancing its resilience. Regain a sense of steadiness through balance postures, all while embracing a profound sense of self-compassion and kindness. Our meditation and breathwork sessions not only bring tranquility but also aid in building mental and emotional resilience.

How to get started:

  1. On class day, come to Club Hope, 11931 W. Central, Wichita, Kansas (Southeast corner of Central & 119th St West) by 10:20am.
  2. Class updates provided via Facebook, follow Club Hope and Marianna Evans Yoga, to stay up to date.
  3. Some props are provided, bring your own mat and any favorite prop.
  4. Experience a joyful time, moving your body and while building resilience.

ABOUT YOGA WELLNESS EDUCATOR MARIANNA

Marianna Evans has been teaching Hatha style yoga for 10 years and practicing for 17. Marianna was inspired by Anna Guest-Jelley to bring Curvy Yoga to the Wichita Kansas area, and has also studied with Lynn Crimando, Doug Keller, Judith Lasater, and many others. Marianna graduated from 500 HR YTT in 2021 as a Yoga Wellness Educator. She is also Curvy Yoga and Accessible Yoga certified. Marianna teaches fun, playful classes that meet students where they are today. She focuses on practices that help increase strength, mobility, and balance, joyfully leading students to find the yoga they didn’t know they needed.
