Posture Improvement is an 8-week journey designed for individuals in an aging body who are ready to reclaim their posture, reduce pain, and feel their absolute best.

As we age, maintaining good posture becomes essential—not just for appearance but for overall health. This course is tailored to address the unique needs of aging bodies, helping you stand taller, and move more freely with greater ease. Guess what? We are ALL in aging bodies.

Led by an experienced and compassionate yoga wellness educator, you’ll be guided through carefully crafted sessions that combine gentle movement, strength-building, and mindfulness techniques. Whether you’re new to yoga or have practiced for years, this program offers a safe, supportive environment where you can progress at your own pace.

Frequently asked questions

No prior yoga experience is necessary! This course is designed for all levels, including beginners. Each session includes clear instructions, options, and gentle guidance to ensure you feel comfortable and confident throughout the program.

If you are under a doctor's care for a current, acute condition, or are recovering from surgery, you must be cleared for exercise by a medical professional before registering.

This course is designed to help ease discomfort caused by poor posture or tension. Movements are gentle and adaptable, with options to suit your individual needs. As always, you’re encouraged to listen to your body and move at your own pace.

Be sure to follow any medical restrictions you have been given and inform the instructor at the first class.

Each weekly session will last approximately 75 minutes, with simple posture tips and exercises you can easily incorporate into your daily life for lasting results.

During this course, we will utilize a variety of props to assist in the practice. All props needed will be provided.


If you have any of these things, please bring them: yoga mat, 2 yoga blocks, yoga strap, stretchy resistance band, tennis ball or similar size massage ball, 9" pilates ball.

Many participants notice positive changes—like improved posture, reduced tension, and greater awareness—within just a few weeks. Consistency is key, and the tools you’ll gain in this course are designed to create lasting improvements for years to come.
